That style mobo will show up with the low end celeron most likely, if not intel will most likely offer a personal suggestion. I'd wait a little closer to the release of that processor.

I wouldn't use either, not enough ventilation for my tastes.
*edit* especially not enough for the price, i'd use an antec 900 before those

That depends how much it costs i suppose(didn't see a price correct me if i'm wrong) but only the small little features that are specific to vista(would probably never use) well, you pretty much answered my question there but i'm thinking vista is gonna be about as succesful as ps3 turned out to be.

I imagine it'll cost closer to 500$ built in sound card, and supposedly comes with dolby headphones too. Add up each seperate cost including the 7900 and it's a little bit pricey.

all i can think of now is that it's a bios problem, cpu-z and sandra look at the hardware itself, but i don't think they'd read it properly if the bios couldn't support it, honestly i'd be ripping my hair out over this if i was you... but i'm interested in the answer too now  Edit: did u check ...

If i were you i'd get cpu-z and look at it's memory readings and see what it turns up, but no it shouldn't say that you only have 1 gb, there is a good chance that one of them stopped working, for that you could try loading it with only one chip at a time, if one of them doesn't work it's bad.

you can always try sandra's computer environment monitoring, it'll monitor it on a frequency u set it for and put it on a nice little graph for you.

Edit: that's in sandra lite btw
