If you go to http://www.pricenetwork.ca and type in what you are looking for, they will give you a list of stores and their prices (great for comparison shopping). Check out http://www.canadacomputers.com as they usually have really good prices if you're not a reseller.

Well I downloaded and installed it last night and now I get nothing when I try to go onto the net. Luckily I dual booted my machine but I go into 200 often to do work. I can log on to my provider but there are no web pages showing. Any ideas?

Well, I have managed to read all of David Gemmel's books. Neat thing about his books - you can start at any one of them. They just about all join somehow but can stand as a great read seperately.

I will say that after leaving the Bahamas 7 years ago (got married 2 years ago to a lady from montreal) and moving to Toronto, I have learned to appreciate jazz and techno (believe it or not - STRANGE!!!). But I still listen to reggae mostly since reggae still converts every hit song into their styl...

Abit NF7 v2.0 or Asus A7N8X?

I have finally decided to go with an nforce board cause thay are the same price as the KT400 boards I was looking at. Yup, I finally ditched the idea of a Kt400 board. I don't do any kind of programming.

I am a Land Surveyor and work outside all day. Plan on moving back to the Bahamas pretty soon to continue my career in the construction field.

Don't program at all since I can't keep focused long enough

Here is my current config.

ECS K7S5A v3.0
XP 1800
1GB PC 2100 DDR
Radeon 7500 128meg
2 x 20 gig HD

The ram I think is generic.
Have you heard anything good about the MSI board at all? The pickings are quite expensive in canada!!

Thank all of you very much!!

I usually read the postings here but never actually post messages myself!

this info helps a great deal as I usually build systems for people but don't dabble in networking much.

thanks again
