Re: Black Friday deals?

Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday sucked major donkey balls this year. I usually buy at least one or two things, but I saw absolutely nothing worth getting.

Yup. The doctor offered me a prescription for Valium as well, but I declined.

Re: Replacing my Dell 2407FP. Recommendations?

The 2407FP works just fine, and I'll probably keep it around as a second monitor or hook it up to the kids' computer. Since I can afford it, I would prefer a monitor with overall better image quality.

Replacing my Dell 2407FP. Recommendations?

I'm in the market to replace my aging Dell 2407FP, and I don't know where to begin. I'm tempted to jump on one of the Korean IPS displays, but I'm hesitant to buy one if it's a hassle to calibrate straight out of the box. I wouldn't mind getting a new Dell IPS monitor either, but if my money can be ...

This cannot end well: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=96524 That's right, The Mouse now owns Lucasfilm. I don't know. Marvel Entertainment (Marvel comics, etc.) has flourished since they were bought by Disney in 2009, so I don't foresee anything too terrible happening to the Lucas p...

Re: Windows Phone notification LEDS (do they exist?)

@ludi you should check out Light Flow . Also, since a lot of custom ROMs support different colors for notifications, I wouldn't be surprised if some already support a charging indicator. CM10 currently does not, but I'm sure you could ask for the feature to be implemented. =Edit= lonleyppl apparentl...

Re: dymt reloaded

Alternatively, one could just buy a house with a basement. There are actually very few basements/cellars in Oklahoma. The reasons I've heard are: 1) the water tables are too high, and/or 2) the hard clay soil makes it difficult to dig. With that being said, there's no shortage of tornado shelters, ...

Re: dymt reloaded

My house narrowly escaped the biggest tornado ever recorded during the May 3, 1999 outbreak in Oklahoma . For those of you unfamiliar with those storms, the main tornado had winds exceeding 300 mph (482+ kph) and the destruction was in the truest sense of the word, awesome. The tornado was so strong...

What about flats? I never watched that many tornado aftermath videos (mostly i've seen on the Discovery channel), but concrete structures like flat apartments are also as affected as normal wood or brick homes? I presume they shouldn't but i'd like some images to show the contrary. Living in Oklaho...

I realllllllllllllly wish the Vangaurd had a higher top speed and some decent hill climbing. Can't you cert both? I know the magrider can. The Magrider destorys the Vangaurd in those respects and it's almost stupid how well you can get around in a Magrider compared to the Vangaurd. So...you want to...

The "good" rocket launchers still take a LONG time to get them, same goes for other upgrades... They're what, 7000 Auraxium? You can earn that in just a few hours, especially if you play as an engineer. Killing enemies + repairing vehicles + repairing MAXes + repairing turrets + throwing ...

Re: Need new android phone - Galaxy Nexus?

If you're staying on T-Mobile, then you can't go wrong with the Galaxy Nexus. Though you might want to consider buying a used S3 as they can be found for around the same price, or just a little bit more, than a new Galaxy Nexus. However, if you're switching to Verizon, I would suggest that you consi...

I did, and it was kinda fun... until they put a 30 min timer on "instant action" (which STILL was dropping you at a random locations, not necessarily where you actually wanted to be dropped). That made traveling insanely annoying (I don't like driving/piloting in this game because of anno...
