Only time I have seen lines like that is when using an analog cable with a LCD monitor. FSB tuning usually gets rid of it. Those should be available on your monitor's menu's. The DVD was set up for the Dec 20th release before the movie even hit the theaters. For those not of the Browncoat persuasion, Dec 20th was the original air date of "Serenity". Idiot schedulers at Fox aired Serenity which was supposed to be the pilot for "Firefly" last.
