Heh, I love me some Family Guy, but if I had a kid I wouldn't let him/her watch. She's too young to know what's going on. Although I will still change Southpark as the imagery alone could warp even a stone. I had to stop letting my daughter watch it after she kept asking to watch "daddy's funn...
Now Mr. Noodle, on the other hand...there's definitely something wrong with him.
Heh, the original Mr. Noodle was awesome.
But yeah, I'll take Veggie Tales or Pixar movies over most of the other kid shows. My kids just discovered "The Wiggles" and I'm ready to move out of the house.
I've always loved using Netstumbler to troubleshoot problems with wireless networks (conflicting networks on same channel, signal strength, etc.) but now that I've got a laptop with Windows 7, it doesn't work anymore (claims it can't find any supported wireless devices). Seeing as how Netstumbler ha...
Sitting on the patio of a beach house in Panama right now. Can't say I'm missing the winter storm hitting Minneapolis. Hopefully the flight home won't be affected.
So what are the final standings for all the leagues? It seems like there weren't a lot of really good/really bad teams this year.
Playoffs for me in the Keeper league, that makes 3 years in a row. Gone from 4th (league champion), to 2nd (lost championship game), to 1st. Who's your daddy?
There's no tactics option to *not* switch weapons in the middle of a fight - my AW (and Leliana) keeps switching to melee weapons at inappropriate times, and ticking 'Self-Any-switch to ranged' puts them into an endless weapon switch loop where they are unable to do anything - ouch -_-. I get aroun...
First place in the Keeper league, which is one league I really wanted to do well in. Now that all the fantasy football sites are blocked at work, I find I don't nearly have as much time to spend on it as I'd like. I guess that means my work did the right thing in blocking the sites.
This past weekend I bought an HP dm3-1035dx for $550 at Best Buy. As Skrying mentioned (both here and in some other threads), the trackpad is not that great. Although after a few days of use, it's much better (I changed some of the settings, the pad has been oiled up with days worth of use, and I've...
"Just the Two of Us" went really well. Although we have to pick a new hangout, preferable one that has hot waitresses. Our man "Carlos" just wasn't cutting it.
Super last minute notice, but I'm flying out today. Not sure how long I'm going to be there, to make planning an event even more difficult. Currently set to stay until Friday, but plans could change and I might get sent home as early as Wednesday.
There is actually a way to make buttloads of money and buttloads of XP...
There's a cheaper way to get XP: Buy Elfroot from the merchant in the Elf camp, it's unlimited and pretty cheap. Then put it in the allied crates. You can get thousands of XP from 10 sets of 99 Elfroot.
In almost every RPG there has been some sort of respec option. What RPGs have those? I don't recall playing any that allowed for that. Now, I will admit that I prefer what they did in KotOR, where you level up a new party member when they join, rather than have everything defined for you. I'm about...
Last night I ran into a bugged quest when going through the Elven Alienage. Basically I ended up locked in a room with no way out. Apparently it is pretty common and the way to work around it is to leave your party outside the room with "hold" on and then go into the room to trigger the cu...
