Would a 10K watt generator be big enough to run a house of about 1700sq feet? They are not as expensive as I thought. Only about $2.5K. That's not bad at all. That all depends what you want to run. If you wanted to use everything in the house as normal, I'd say no. 15k or more would be a better cho...

That's a pretty crappy situation. They need something like some retail stores. Priced as marked, they have to sell it at that price. My company (OGE Electric) only serves a couple states, so no, it's not listed. But they're awesome. Everyone who works there is glad to be there, so everyone is always happy. Great benefits, great people, great everything really. I love it.
