Oh no, Gleek was around!

We've managed to work from home 2m apart since March and not killed each other, which isn't a bad start to our first year of marriage.

What about everyone else, what has changed?

Well, let's see... I've changed jobs a couple of times and survived a layoff. Have been working from home since March.

Our oldest daughter moved to California; our younger daughter moved out last year, then (recently) moved back in because she was worried about repeated coronavirus scares due to her roommate's job.

Our dog (a Shiba Inu) passed away a few years back. We now have a Corgi/Heeler mix.

I've had some significant health issues (spent a week in the hospital back in May), but I'm mostly better now (and still improving). Wife and kids are all healthy, and nobody has come down with the coronavirus (fingers crossed that it stays that way).

TR was sold about a year ago, place isn't what it used to be. Some of the regulars are still hanging around, but the forums have been pretty dead.

Glad no one has had it your end JBI, I thought your kids were much older. Time plays tricks!

Oh, our kids ARE older... the one who moved to California has been out of the house for 10 years now, but was living just one town over until recently. Youngest is 27.

The office where I normally work probably won't fully reopen until sometime early next year (as a guess). It's not just the concern with possible transmission between co-workers; the office location in the congested city center means most of us take public transit, and it is probably going to be a while before people are comfortable with that.

Wanted to add to the congratulations imi.

Whilst I'm here of course, a life update for the curious.
- Finished uni 2007
- Lucked into a job in finance (housemate heard of it through a family member but had committed to his PhD) using a crazy language called kdb. Been doing it or some variant of it ever since.
- Got married 2012, had son together 2013
- Wife abandoned myself and child 2017, a month before his 4th birthday (she has been in the same room as him a grand total of three times since then, classy)
- Spent some time getting my life back on track with huge help from my family
- Grew closer to someone I dated back in 2003, who also has a son from a previous marriage. We both have a lot more patience for each other nowadays! :-)
- Proposed 2019
- Due to be married next month (have had to postpone the celebrations due to Covid)
- Then we're both going to fill out the paperwork for shared parental responsibilities with relevant biological mother/father
- And with any luck in 2021, one more sprog to round out the family

This one was pepperoni, salami, and mushrooms with some basil flaky sea salt added as soon as it came out of the oven. Good stuff.

The only thing that belongs on pizza besides sauce and cheese is a salted meat of some kind. Vegetables belong in a salad. Fruit is right out.

Fish on pizza is normal and part of the original style back in Italy. Fruit works fine as long it compliments the savory(umami) and saltiness of the other toppings. That's why Hawaiian Pizza (Really Canadian Pizza :P) is a thing.

You never had a good one then. It only works well with fresh pineapples and Canadian bacon, salami.

Tomato is a fruit, so I assume you only use white sauce on your pizza.
