I honestly don't recall. Maybe one of the long-time forum denizens who knew him IRL will comment. It's probably documented in a forum post somewhere.

Indian food + driving = mistake

I think I got a few laughs out of the restroom with that outstanding display of intestinal fervor.

Okay it wasn't that bad. Last time I did that I was glad that it was dark outside, my trainee was asleep, and there was a ditch right on the exit I happened to be approaching.

At least I've never used the dreaded 5 gallon bucket. And I recently was told by a guy that he had to go so bad he used a garbage bag..... But.... Missed the bag.

Dinner time!

My brother-in-law cops to an event of dire extremis where a guardrail became an impromptu toilet seat.

This weekend, I got to find out what it feels like to fall and crack the small of your back. Cleaning the bathroom, slipped backwards and the small of my back seems to have gone directly over the tub (and my head thunked the tile on the wall pretty damn good too).

Hospital stays are boring AF, if any of y'all didn't know. But the spine wasn't broken, just lots of soft tissue damage.
Ugly people have sex all the time. We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion humans if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

So... on an Amazon delivery time estimate, what's the difference between "Friday", and "Friday by 8:00 PM"? The only way that distinction makes any sense is if there's a possibility of the package being delivered between 8:00 PM and midnight.

(We're talking about two items from the same order here.)

My same day delivery from Amazon was delivered by a random dude in a car and showed a 9pm latest arrival. Maybe they will deliver really late.

My drone addiction quantified. Finally got by the house to pick up the **** i've been ordering for two solid months.

To be fair, there is one bag of groceries under that as is evident by the rice cup. The two duffle bags on the far left are also drone parts. I have to get all this sorted out before i go to sleep since that's my bed. Too bad i'm on a deadline today so it'll have to stay in this condition for a while.

I could go for a split outcome where the judge awards the plaintiff one unfinished 4x4 from the defendants, while the defendants are granted attorneys' costs. Et voila, the plaintiff pays $350,000 for a post that measures a full four inches per side.

Lots of idiots in the world... put two of them in the same place at the same time, and bad sh*t happens: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/road-rage-a ... a-freeway/

Everybody involved is lucky to be alive. The motorcyclist and driver of the Nissan should have their licenses yanked.

Bored in the Chicago hotel room and the TV is on the Travel Channel (ESPN is borked), from whence I learn that the modern grocery shopping cart was created in Oklahoma City, OK in 1937. I feel so much more enriched and educated knowing that. The only 2 movie channels seem to be locked in 24-hour repeats of ET and Independence Day.

That simple phrase contains much veiled threat combined with pure astonishment that TRAJ both reached that point AND accepted it.

Why is it when I ride the CTA it's always crowded and Rebecca DeMornay is nowhere to be found?

Oh, and Tangerine Dream isn't playing in the background.

Just when you thought US telecoms had only one mode -- evil -- an email arrives from Comcast saying that your 25mbps connection has been upgraded to 55mbps at no charge. Not sure what drove that change, since Denver has never been on Google's radar and Verizon has said nothing about FIOS, but a quick run of Speedtest.net before and after the modem reboot confirmed it.

On a related note, I should have switched to Ubiquity a long time before this year. I'm enjoying the sight of this number climbing:
