YAY! I'm not the only one who prefers dark backgrounds because it hurts my eyes.
I also miss the time when almost all websites had a dark background instead of white all over the place.

How come the Black option doesn't have a link to Active Topics like the Canvas theme? I see New Posts on both, but not Active Topics

I love the black theme but the UI needs some work. It's hidden under the trendy "hamburger" menu thingy in the top-left, right next to the fancy speech bubble icon for Forums.

It is in the drop-down menu (upper left corner). Initially I was annoyed that it had been moved to a menu, but the menu floats (always visible even if you scroll down), so it's a wash IMO.

FWIW, some people are confusing two things here.

The home page area (not fourms) has two options, white and blue. Blue for life, white is for heathens and crazies.
The forums have two options, black and canvas. Black is better, but does make some text hard to read due to a few bugs. Worth it.
