Bring Your Kids to Work Day

Thu Apr 27, 2017 3:13 pm

My kids had a nice day at work with me today. Thanks to the joint military base Sergeant’s Association and 5/6 members they arranged displays of tactical vehicles and military working dog demonstrations for us to show our kids. Otherwise my civil service office job working on funding spreadsheets and facility project programming would probably bore them to tears. Anyway, I appreciate the work and grateful to still be serving after 20 years of active-duty.

That's pretty cool! They make me feel safe.

As a full-time telecommuter, my kid lives at my office.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I wish I could do a "family day" at work. They banned them years before I ever started at LANL because of the rampant security violations that resulted. :(
