Yeah, it's always better cooked on the stove. The Maillard reaction makes food extra delicious!

Personally I would've skipped the butter though; canned hash already has enough fat as it is.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Well even when using the Microwave I always put at least half an Onion and a can of veggies of sort. Usually Sweet peas or carrots and peas.
