My nVidia 970GTX settlement check.
I don't even own the card any more, but hey, I got thirty bucks, which the lawyers probably made crap tons of interest on before paying it out.
I was joking at the TR BBQ of how I'd never see those thirty bucks.

My guess is that the payout to the first group was equalled or surpassed by the second group, despite the first group being tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of times larger.

All checks expire eventually. If an expiration timeframe is not explicitly stated on the check, 180 days is typical.
