Need some help with a logo

Sun Aug 05, 2018 11:50 pm

I couldn't decide what forum this should go in, apologies if I guessed wrong.

I'm looking for someone to help me design a logo for a marching band. I know what I want, and I don't think it will be overly difficult. I just have 0 photo editing skills. There will be a little money in it, but not much, maybe a hundred bucks or so. Hoping there's some photo editing people here that can knock it out and make a quick hundo without too much effort.

I've got a .png file of the main logo, and I want to put words in a circle around it.

PM me if interested.

The best you'd get from me is Design By Programmer(meaning, bad), so I'm probably not the best choice either. A friend of mine just tried Design Crowd for something similar and had a pretty good experience with it, so that might be an idea also.

My daughter might be interested. She has an art/design degree. I'll ask her.

I've been told that 99 designs was a pretty good source for logos. You describe what you want, pay a set rate and then choose from the submitted designs and keep the rights to one. Its a group of artists and they decide for themselves which jobs to do designs for.

Ah, that took me back to 4th grade in 1987.

Two former colleagues of mine who could take it on--and I recognize the budget is limited:

Both great folks to work with.
