The fun's only beginning.

After Blizzard backtracked partway, they are now being firmly asked - by none other than actual senators - to reverse it all the way.

So normally, the gaming industry hides under the radar, only getting mainstream attention from politicians want to blame video games for something. Getting bipartisan attention is a big deal. It might not mean a proper reversal and correction of Blizzard's business practices, but it will mean more social consciousness, if only to avoid this kind of public $!%%show in the future, by all/most of the AAA companies.
On second thought, let's not go to TechReport. Tis a silly place.

Just read the letter and all I can think of is damnnnn:

"As China amplifies its campaign of intimidation, you and your company must decide whether to look beyond the bottom line and promote American values—like freedom of speech and thought—or to give in to Beijing's demands in order to preserve market access."
