It is actually supposed to convey something meaningful. :)

It also appears to be a passive adapter with European style (240V) prongs and a US style (120V) socket. Unless the device you use it with has a universal 120/240 switching supply there will be some interesting fireworks.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I sometimes wonder if Chinese graphic artists do this stuff on purpose as a form of clickbait.

This other adapter looks the same, the $0.25 price difference buys you this explanation: "With children's electric shock protection doors design, effectively improve the safety of electricity use." So, it has a latch that prevents you from sticking a wire into the hole. You can still do it with two wires and both hands, though.

And it's "made of lame retardant material" - exactly what I'm looking for. Or am I? Not sure.

Edit: "Payload: 6KW" - is that enough for my fast electric shaver?

6000 Watts is more than 27 Amperes for 240 Volt single-phase. That ought to run your shaver and a couple of air dryers.

Wirko wins.

I did say it's supposed to be meaningful, but the meaning was indeed in a different listing. Not the best visual also there:

Speaking of Chinese listings, I don't get why they have this annoying tendency to include an endless amount of meaningless PR photos, instead of 2-3 useful ones + text with real specs.

But that's a given. AC/DC bricks are pretty much all switched-mode by now, so little reason to avoid making them universal voltage.

There are a lot of appliances that don't use an AC/DC brick at all.

They must have heard of that saying that Western people sometimes use, "A picture is worth a thousand words".

So what you're saying is that it's the photographic equivalent of:

Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Quantity over quality.

Yeah. But I'm pretty sure buyers of passive adapters (mostly) know what to use them on. :)

I wouldn't be so sure. And what about all the co-workers and family members of those buyers? "Oh, this looks like exactly the adapter I need to plug this in..." BOOM!

I tried to find out if it's compatible with 240V American plugs ... here's what I got:

https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-know-if-my-electrical-outlet-is-240V

"Here is a diagram showing some of the common ones" (25 different plugs in the diagram, three phase not included, IEC types not included)
If I ever visit North America, I'm not taking any adapters with me ... just a cable with a socket at one end and two bare wires at the other, and a voltmeter.

You chumps can waste your money on sunglasses if you want... I'll just drive with my eyes closed.

A shoes listing. Amidst the normal description and blurb there's a title-like thing:

FOXCONN'S WAY TO LOOK

And more details (earlier than the title-like phrase):

Veteran Foxconn's way to look at the housing market development of poor students received a moment along with the development of the market

Looks machine-generated more than a mistranslation, and I don't think it can reasonably be a Chinese Lorem ipsum.

"Does not ship to the United States".
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Ships worldwide except Africa, Central America and Caribbean, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America and ~130 listed countries.

And Spark? Careful reading reveals that they have dust storms there.
