Other than the need for folks to enable PTT or fTPM in their motherboard's UEFI BIOS, there are questions of TPM 1.2 vs. TPM 2.0 and also why only Core 8xxx Coffee Lake and newer Intel processors are supported. Skylake (6th generation), Kaby Lake ("7th gen"), Kaby Lake Refresh ("7th gen"), Coffee Lake ("8th gen"), Coffee Lake Refresh ("9th gen") and Comet Lake ("10th gen") all use the Skylake microarchitecture on 14nm while the aborted Cannon Lake was the 10nm shrink of Skylake. From a technical perspective, all of these processors should have the same compatibility. This smacks of an arbitrary marketing decision.
