I used to follow TR way back in early 2000s, as I was getting to know computers more in detail, and I even used the build guide to build my own "custom" PC (my family had computers for a while, but it was the first one I could say "I built this"). An Athlon 64 X2 processor, an Nvidia chipset plus a 7800 GTX. Since then I was following up this site until I got to the point where I could actually contribute to it with the subscription (and conversely stop "lurking"). And as I was getting closer bit by bit to the community, I got to see the apocalypse of the site firsthand: sad times indeed.
My question is, where has everyone gone to? Would still like to connect with all the great folks that were hanging around here (except the one guy that was presenting iffy medical advise... that was weird). Since this forum is mostly dead, maybe this is a question that will fall on deaf ears... but hey! at least it's worth the shot!
