TR MOB (The Finals/New Beginning)

Sun May 22, 2005 11:13 am

This is it, the last weigh in for the MOB! Let see who comes out on top, the Beer Drinkers or Hell Raisers.

Preliminary Results:
Image

Please take a look at the results I have so far. If you have a gray box in a weight in spot that means I didn't get one from you. Double check your results and make sure they're accurate. Also, if anybody would like to continue this I'd be more than happy to. Just let me know if you want to stay involved and we'll keep this going.

Final Edit:

In a clash that will go down with the ages, the Hell Raisers squeaked out a victory so close, it can only be compared to Gore v. Bush in their Supreme Court Battle Royale. Congrats to both Lickety & Convert as they were our two biggest losers.

I had a great time doing this, and will definetly continue the MOB as long as I have unwanted fat. I'll retain the stats for those who want to continue. Otherwise I'll remove you from the list as we continue on from here. Pretty amazing that as a whole we lost over 140 lbs, congratulations to everyone!

My team will be quite happy, while going to my cert courses my only sustenance was water which I could hardly keep down as it was. I was fortunate enough to come down with food poisoning on Monday. You can imagine the kind of fun I had sitting in class for 8 hours. I survived though and came out 7.5 pounds lighter than when I started. I was so dehydrated Friday I thought I was going to pass out while driving home.

At least one good thing came out of this incredibly hellish experience.

I fear I must end the weighins with a lackluster -1 for the week :x

This week was a bad one for my diet. I hope to get back on track this week.

I'm down to a spry 240lbs. That puts me @ -2 for the week, -5 in all. I'd like this to keep going.....I just started coaching track for the season, and I do a lot of running with the kids. It seems to help. :D
Probably PUI. Definitely an كافر

I had a pretty encouraging week. I didn't work out much, just a couple of days, and ate well, but nothing crazy and I dropped a few. I'm going to keep this going for as long as anybody wants to, so let me know if you want to keep losing weight.

I'm at 217, I didn't check in last week. That's down 5. Wont make my goal but I'm happy with the progress I've made.

I'll keep going if other people would like to.

It's a tight race right now with only four lbs splitting the teams. I'm still waiting to hear from VaTech Hokie (not likely), derFunkenstein, Lickety (a thread with no post from Lickety?), idchafee, Bob Maenhout, and the ellusive Joshvar. I'll give it til the end of the day to post the final results.

I found a scale. Its not the scale I've been using, so I have no idea how accurate it is, but it says 204, so -1.

So, are we gonna keep going?

Those who want to keep going can. I probably won't make it a competition like it is now, that way people can join and quit anytime because I've had a few people approach me and wish they had joined earlier. But we'll still have the weekly reporting and I'll keep the spreadsheet up to date to keep track of things.

The final results are in, congratulations to everyone!

Couldn't you have lost one more pound Lickety?

If you're interested in continuing I'll start another thread. Please post in that thread if you want to join or continue with the MOB. Post your starting weight and goal weight if you're a newcomer.

Thanks to everyone for making this a success!

That money's burning a whole in my pocket. How about a little bet on the Suns/Spurs series? Six pack says the Spurs sweep the series. :P

It's on like Donkey Kong. Good thing you cut down on the food so you can save your money, you'll need it.

Great job everyone.

I did technically cheat though, since I was sick all that weight I lost is coming back pretty quick (I already gained 3 pounds in 3 days). Guess I was just lucky this was the last weigh in.

Thank you 5150 for this opportunity, if it wasn’t for you I would probably be climbing past 215 as we speak. I cannot thank you enough.
