Courthouse is the way to go. Guaranteed paperwork (marriage liscence etc) and fees, the whole thing will be less than $100 :P Aside from rings of course.

I have been married twice.

First time it was about $10K, it was a nice dinner and a nice ceremony and it was a good night.

Second time (just last May) I think it was about $15k-$20K. Mainly because we got married on a Thursday and had some food that night, then had a "reception" and had more food and a DJ. Our Photographer cost $600 and we got all the pictures on CD (over 600). The DJ was $1275 and he did a great job. The Video guy was $1100 and he did a fantastic job and also gave us all the raw footage in addition to the "produced" disc.

It was a great weekend of celebration. We had about 250 invited and I think all told 190-200 showed up. The honeymoon cost another $3K and I never thought I would buy a ring that would cost $5K but I did because she is teh best evar!

My inlaws payed for both occasions (1st and 2nd) so aside from little expenses I never had the direct responsibility. Some day however I will have a little girl and she will get the same treatment.

Is the justice of the peace the same as a courthouse marriage? Personally, we both want to elope. I don't like crowds and she's not that traditional. However, her giant Italian (father's side) and Slovak (Mother's side) not to mention all catholics like you can't understand, want a huge fiasco. No thanks!

If they pay for it, then WTF? That would be my attitude anyway.

My DJ was GOING to be $100 and all the beer he wanted, then his weekend off turned into a weekend of work, so not only was he not the DJ, he didn't even get to come to the wedding. So then my DJ was my dad's 6-CD changer on the stereo. Not that I mind.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

well all good points, but there's a lot of variables that go into it.

ie: equipment quality (audio, microphone, video, etc), music selection,
knowledge/experience, attire/appearance, etiquette/attitude,
availability, how big your company is, reputation, and so on are all
determining factors those base your contractual price per hour.
I noticed that "size of the client's wallet" was not on that list...

thats why most DJs require at -least- a $100 (non-refundable) deposit
for any event... most only accept 50% as the minimum deposit.

that way you're guaranteed to have a dj on your special day.

Thank u, this is fun. I really like to read your thoughts and see who you`d like to get married. Guys, do you think some people do not use the services of a photographer at a wedding? It is thanks to high-quality photographs that this holiday will remind you and your guests of itself for a long time. Is it worth hiring a photographer here https://www.artlook.us/? Thank you all. I appreciate your opinion and attention.

I don't plan to organize a wedding, but for me, the wedding day is special of course. But I want it to be with closest people, somewhere on the beach.
I don't see a point in spending a lot of money on it.
I'd rather spend them on a wedding trip

Hi. When choosing your wedding photographer https://en.danielnotcake.com/photographer_in_iceland, people want to ensure they create the wedding album they have always dreamed of. It's not worth saving money on a photographer if you decide to hire one. Sometimes saving can have very bad consequences. My friend has a blurry face in half of the photos. All because they hired a delegate.
