Dr. Pepper. I'm not replacing my booze once it's gone :( Wife's orders. She's unhappy about my consumption lately.

EDIT: I'm down to maybe half a bottle each of tequila and vodka, and a six pack of some fruity beer...so the next month is OK. But after that? :( :( :(

Mojito! It's from a mix, though. :(

Still, my liver doesn't really care.

Drinking moderately and eating well (read: vitamins, antioxidants, unsaturated fatty acids) keep your liver happy and healthy ;)

Bunahabhain 18. Not as peaty as most Islays, but still a strong sherry cask note. Quite tasty.

Dogfish Head

Sun Dec 30, 2007 3:50 am

Drinking Dogfish head 60 minute IPA right now.

It's rich and a bit bitter. Not nearly as full bodied as the 90 minute IPA that they make but quite good nonetheless. I've done some math and come to the conclusion that this 6% beer per 24 pack is only a few dollars more expensive than 36 bud lights. I will no longer drink cheap beers to get drunk. Only to play college drinking games. I've experienced a huge discovery in my life, good beer isn't much more expensive per alcohol volume. :P

Water. Lots of water. Small sips at a time.

Last night was homemade vodka. Made by Ukrainians. Good god, those people can drink...

Oh god yes. I was at a small base with a contingent of Ukranians in Iraq, they used to get drunk all the time. Them and the Romanians.

Some A-B winter brew...Winter’s Bourbon Cask Ale. Leaves a nice, refreshing [sarcasm] Jim Beam-like aftertaste...something that should be laid down and avoided.

But it was a gift and no gift goes un-drank. Un-drunken. WTFever.

Yup! How many have a Ukranian story? Mine is the homemade vodka flavored with berries picked in the Sierras. At least those were the first few bottles... I do remember the incredibly good liquor with a CCCP label on it.

Apparently they found me half naked yelling at a parked VW. It was a warm night... it got in my way. Hey, what would you do?

That one required stitches. Apparently.

Almost forgot, drinking a Lagunitas Saison Ale. Not their best. It tastes like grass. Nice color though.
Calm seas never made a skilled mariner. But, sadly I'm an A's fan.

Currently... my last pot of Jamaica Me Crazy coffee. Also my last scrap of coffee in the house. And nobody but nobody is open today. @#?!! holiday season has screwed up UPS shipping times, so I didn't get my last order before the new year.

So... here's the dilemma: Tomorrow morning, do I drink re-heated coffee, or wait until I'm on the road and stop at Starbucks on the way to work?

I'd have to plan on both.

<....Barcardi light rum and diet Pepsi. The tag hanging off the bottle tells me that there are zero carbs and zero sugar in this combination. That means I can drink more without going off my diet! :D

I don't know what it is, but it was given to me in a mason jar, and it's pretty tasty.

Mmm, Left Hand Imperial... that's good stuff!

I'm currently drinking a homebrewed ESB. We all have our off days, and the day I brewed this batch must've been one of 'em. I didn't care for it when it was young; but some extended (over a year) aging has smoothed it out considerably. I still wouldn't call it a particularly good example of an ESB, but at least it is palatable now.

Surgeons get to bury their mistakes... homebrewers drink them!
