I thought you guys might want to have a look.

It would take you 2,363 continuous hours or 98 days,11 hours, and 35 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library.
In this time you could travel to Venus one time.

Fabio Francia "knows no fear" as he hustles an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio around the Nürburgring in a new record time for 4-door sedans of 7:32.

As someone who's seen commercials like this for 40 years or so, it's got as much credulity as the old KrazyGlue ad where an ironworker supposedly glued his hard hat to a beam and hung from it.

The last USAF flight of the mighty F-4 Phantom (the Greek AF still flies them).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT_gLtwAjBs

When I first moved to my current locale, the VTANG flew the Phantom. VTANG is tasked with CONUS air defense, so they practice often. When a 4-ship flight practiced a combat launch, most of Chittenden County put down whatever it was doing for the next couple of minutes until the thunder had abated. The F-4 is man's triumph of sheer thrust over aerodynamics.

In the school year of 1971-1972, I had the pleasure of living in the Montgomery, AL area due to Dad's (USAF Reserve) required attendance at the staff college at the AFB there. The high point of the stay was family day at the base, with the Thunderbirds flying a full show in Phantoms. Glorious noise.

Somehow, Mercedes-Benz got the Coen brothers to make a Super Bowl ad for their latest hyper-roadster. I wish I could afford this level of midlife crisis.

Bingo!

http://www.****.net

(I work with a guy who used to bring a copy of that web page up on his laptop in meetings. But only if he was sitting where the presenter could not see it, of course...)

Edit: Aargh! Word filter is mangling the URL. Well, you'll have to manually substitute the correct URL. Think "synonym for bovine excrement" bingo.

Now it's working in Chrome for me, too. I must have mistaken coincidence for causation (that it worked when I corrected the URL and failed a handful of times when I didn't must have been a coincidence)

Just waiting for my daughter to get through college. Looks like it will cost just about what her schooling will. Never been a huge fan of MB styling though. Kinda have my eye on a Jag F-type.

I actually thought that was one of the better commercials too.

The Oroville Dam's concrete spillway has broken about 2/3 of the way down, apparently due to poor maintenance.  The erosion is happening far enough down that it doesn't threaten the dam, but it's sure putting a lot of mud into the Thermolito basin and Feather river in this video.  Additional erosion will happen as water is now flowing over the earthen emergency spillway (which has never been used before since the dam was constructed in 1968).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dBPk2cpcyk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bephol1Ormg

P.S.:  Now the water is running over the parking lot next to the emergency spillway and eroding dangerously close to the dam, forcing them to open up the flow to the damaged normal spillway to lower the lake level below the overflow.  188,000 people have been evacuated from the banks of the river below the dam.
