What do you do if an Olympic torch's flame goes out while being televised to millions of people around the world?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzwid7jeqiE
That's right - you reignite it using a Zippo lighter

P.S: Russia should've outsourced the design and manufacturing of these torches to Taiwan

He's not going to land there, right?
Oh crap, he is landing there.
He's not taking off by rolling over the ridge into space?
Oh crap, that's exactly what he's doing.
He's not pulling a low-speed 180 back against an unfriendly slope?
Bloody hell, he is doing it.

Since a Piper Cub will fly in a strong fart he can get away with these stunts.

Wow, that brings back memories. Have you seen the Special Edition? I find it adds little to the original. @#?!! Lucas...

Along similar lines, don't forget to watch George Lucas in Love and TROOPS.

The USAF Orchestra/Band flash-mobbing Air & Space a couple of days ago. It's got a 720p version so go full screen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIoSga7tZPg#t=366

EDIT: Damn, there's a lot of rockers there (ask Vrock and Tanker27). If I'd known I could make E-8 or E-9 with the Band I might have given it a shot.

Not a video, but a rather hypnotic gif of Smuckers Uncrustables being made:

This time it *is* a video, but not just any video. It's a trailer for a movie that begs, nay, screams to be made. It has all the gloriously cheesy 80s cop movie tropes you could ever dream of, from hacking time to killing hitler, gun battles, DeLoreans, Vikings, and Kung Fu.

Behold the glory that is Kung Fury

I seriously hope their Kickstarter makes it's goal, because I *NEED* this movie.

What took David Lynch 3 hours to massacre is tastefully done in 7 minutes (including credits). Kull wahad.

Despite how I come across in R&P the music of the '60s/'70s is my music. Neil is 68, yet he brings it every night as if it were his last night on stage.

Are you a wizard? Zach King is.

The video is a compilation of Vine videos he's put out, and frankly, they're pretty awesome. It's obviously not traditional stage magic, and the six second format is perfect, because just as you're like "Wait, wha...?", he's on to the next trick.

Pretty neat!

And if for some reason you don't like sorcery (what kind of monster are you?!), here's a documentary about the SR-71 Blackbird.

*BONUS VIDEO*

James "Captain Slow" May of Top Gear fame riding along in a trainer version of the U2 spy plane.

*EXTRA SPECIAL DOUBLE BONUS*

10 minute video of Miles, the Batkid.

Seems like Delta is trying to help you not notice the essential cattle-car quality of their flights by theming the usually-ignored safety video in all sorts of '80s memes (complete with '80s stewardess uniforms. Yes they were still stewardesses back then). I love the co-pilot.

Jimmy Fallon's live walk-off from Late Night and walk-on to the Tonight Show. As a child of the '70s, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem were a perfect choice. You can never go wrong with Animal.

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are very busy these days selling Toyotas. It's supposed to be some sort of cross-promotion with the next Muppet movie.

Movies vs Life Part 1 and Part Two. (NSFW French audio, English subtitles)

Rather funny videos that poke fun at various movie "moments", and show what would really happen in real life.

And from Japan, here's a city mascot being pranked. Japanese audio, no subtitles. Doesn't need them, though. Good luck not feeling bad for laughing.

If you're going to watch these at work, either turn down your speakers, or mute it in Youtube. These are some POV views of crazy rollercoasters, so S-bombs and F-bombs abound. Plus their a ton of people screaming, so it gets load.

That said:

Here's Taiwans Gravity Max. A roller coaster than bring you to a dead stop, tips the track a full 90 deg, then drops you straight down.

Here's Dodonpa at Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, Yamanashi Prefecture. Don't let the pink polka dot, or zebra stripe cars fool you. It's an intense ride, that take you from 0 to 107MPH in 1.8 seconds.

Here's Takabisha at Fuji-Q Highland, Yamanashi Prefecture, that features the World Record Setting 121 degree drop.

Here's Eejanaika at Fuji-Q Highland, Yamanashi Prefecture. It's a "4D rollercoaster", in that it connects to 4 rails, and each seat rotates a full 360 deg during the ride.

Here's Venus GP at Space World, Fukuoka Prefecture
And here' s Ultra Twister Roller Coaster POV Nagashima Spaland Japan

If you want to see more of their clips, head to Theme Park Review

The 14 seconds between 1:09 and 1:23 are pure genius. The rest pretty much sucks. The title is "Star Wars Bad Foley" (as in the movie-making term).
