So just how many gun owners are here. As strange as it may sound I have a weapon for every operating computer I have.

Browning Superposed (pre WWII Belgium) O/U .12 gauge

The custom rifles have hand made exhibition grade walnut (with rose woor tip and grip cap) left handed thumb hole stocks. There are part of a set of ten (all different calibers) that I built over the years. The others have gone to family members or really close friends.

At one point (before I married my first wife and started having children) I had over 30 firearms in my home. Notice assult rifles are missing from my list above. They were, sadly, the first to go. The only other guns I miss from my old collection are a Mauser Red-9 broom handle and a Safari Arms Match Master .45acp. Both were stolen during a break-in and never recovered.

Ah, this thread is right up my alley.

So far:

From top to bottom:

Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm
Ruger 10/22 with custom folding stock
Bushmaster Carbon 15 5.56x45mm
Mosin Nagant M44 from 1946 with folding bayonet 7.62x51mm

Those are just the guns that I personally own. My dad also has a decent little collection that includes a shotgun, a really nice hunting rifle, and some old military rifles (one dating back to the Civil War). I'm looking into getting some pistols (revolvers specifically), but unfortunately I'm not 21 yet (19

). Luckily the law doesn't prevent parents gifting a pistol to someone under 21. :wink:

Kimber .45 ACP Ultra Carry II stainless with night sights. Beautiful gun. Very well built with little slop and tight tolerances. I'm thinking of putting Laser Grips on it.

Also a Mossberg 12 gauge. Well, I guess that's really my girlfriend's. She also has a Kimber .45 Ultra Carry.

We both have Concealed Pistol Licenses.

I have a really sharp kitchen knife.

As long as I live in an apartment, I won't own a gun. Too many people around when noone is home and I just don't trust my neighbors. I think it's in my lease, too

It was in my lease, back in my apartment days. That and NO washing of clothes after 8pm. I had a load of laundry thrown away because I started the washer at 7:45 and it was still running at 8:00.

I recently had my hands registered as lethal weapons. Doesn't really matter if you have a gun, my forearms can deflect the bullets.

People can put stuff like that in leases? Sheesh. I own several of various types: a 30-30, a couple of shotguns (12 and 16 gauge) a Walther P1 pistol, a .22 and I think that's it.
No kids or anything, and my apartment is very unlikely to be broken into; I don't have much of value. My guns all added up probably cost less than a single Kimber. Unless someone knows how much old, out of print herpetological titles can be worth, and where to fence them, I have nothing worth stealing.

When I can afford it, I'll try to get licensed to own a shotgun so I can go clay shooting. There's no way I can own a rifle unless I join a SERIOUS shooting club, and probably even less likelihood of owning a handgun.

Although I do live in the UK's centre for gun crime. I could walk about a mile down the road and find someone who would sell me a pistol, I imagine.

No guns by choice. I didnt even carry one when I had to have a concelled carry license for work.

3 Bows (1 Composite, 1 Recurve, 1 7' Old English longbow)
7 Swords (2 short, 2 long, 1 katana, 1 scimitar and the family greatsword ~420 yrs old)
1 Battle Axe
1 Mace
12 throwing knives

+ All my GF's Wingchun stuff, swords, butterfly knives, etc

I also had a crossbow but sold it since its illegal where I live now.

My dad just recently gave me a bayonet that his grandpa got in WWI when he was in Europe. Its got a German Iron Eagle looking thing, and the year 1911 on it. Its in great shape.

I also got a U.S. calvary saber from my dad that has been in the family longer than that. No one is sure where it came from.

When I see stuff like that I can't help but wonder how the people involved got together in the first place. Bad marriage stories scare the engaged.

As far as the thread is concerned, I have a pre-64 Winchester 94 .30-30 and a Model 1917 Enfield .30-06 that I keep at my parents' house, and a couple of shotguns that I essentially share with my dad.
