Ragnar Dan wrote:I'm guessing that the OP isn't the person in question...mattsteg: Yes, but of course we all clicked on the link w/o foreknowledge if we wanted to find out what it was about. The OP was a bit sneaky in that way. If I'd known what it was about, I certainly would never have lent my unique IP to the effort.
Ragnar Dan wrote:And like I said, the guy just has a webpage. One that you must consciously click a link to go to. No one is forcing you to do so. He's not out in the street yelling at you to help him get a threesome. For all you know he's not doing much at all to actively promote the thing - as this thread has demonstrated interested third parties do plenty well in that regard. I don't know how making a webpage translates into "publicizing this thing in the celebrity culture way", and I don't see how placing *any* content somewhere where it must actively be sought out (short of content that is illegal to generate in the first place) is especially wrong.mattsteg wrote:I'm guessing that the OP isn't the person in question...
And what does that do for your argument? I'm making 2 different points, obviously. I'm critical of the way the OP was lacking in information, and I'm critical of the person whose web page was linked.
