I have lots of pics, including a few from the bonfire that happened after 10 when most folks had left.

Big thanks go out to Dr Fish and his family for allowing us to trample the grass and invade their space for a day!!

It may take me a while to get the pics up, since I am not at home. Anyway, it was a blast, I left about 1 am well after the moon came up, but before the fire died down.

Hope to see y'all again next year

Wow looks like I've been slacking on the forums lately. I grew up in Holland (in waukazoo woods about 2 miles from where the bbq was) and I didn't even notice this until Friday :( And the Gleek is banned? I'm in the D.C. area now btw so I might not have come anyway. Hope everyone had fun.

I got a good look at it when I fixed it this morning and it was just asking to be broken... All the other steps were nicely nesting into the notches cut into the supporting boards running down the length of the steps but the one that broke was too narrow and only one side of it was in the grove, meaning that the other side was supported only by the nails. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it has and it will need to be fixed better than I patched it up to be as strong as it should have been in the first place.

Edit: BTW, everything was very nicely cleaned up when I got there this morning. Nice job everyone. :) All indications are that my family was very pleased with how the whole thing went down and I'm fairly sure we've earned an invite back next year if we want to stick with this location. :D

Thanks again to you and your family. I showed up this morning to get my cooler and to help out, but everything was cleaned up quick. I will post some pics later.

drfish, thanks for being a great host and please thank the family for us.
My wife and son had a blast!
I had a ball.

My camera might have died from getting sand in it though :(

At least I got some pics, and finally found some time to post some, including some beach shots.

(I think z-man did a great job naming everyone in his pic, but post if you are wondering who is who)

um.....

Fish, did you happen to find a Fuji Finepix camera laying around there somewhere? I've tore this luggage apart, and can't find it anywhere. I'm not worried about the camera so much, its a piece of crap, but I had some good pictures on it.

Anyone else come home with an extra camera?

BTW, I've got another award to hand out that I forgot about:

Alright, here's my post with pics and video...

2001: A Rib Odyssey (we decided to do this as soon as we saw how the video turned out)

Obligatory bean bag toss movie

Group shot (forgive the cheese please):

I've only got about 1GB of bandwidth for hosting these things so be nice... If someone wants to mirror them that would be great... :)

The sound of the beanbags hitting the wood sounds really good, almost like you overdubbed Duke Nukem's Mighty Boot sound. :)

A few things I noticed about fish's pics

Check out my kid's head. She kept trying to see around Starfalcon to see what PRIME1 was doing. Of course he was doing his usual clowning around.

That is the 3rd group shot, and in each one it seems someone is missing.

I am missing in that one :)

BTW, I also forgot two things you are free to keep:

I nice poker-themed beach towel, and my folding, trading-table of many bargains. Well, at least it made it to 4 BBQs.

(More then I can say for a lot of TR folk) :)~
