i've discovered my "white whale" of the warez world...

Myst.

I've never seen the game, never played it, but I've heard it's good and have been looking for it for AGES (educational purposes of course) without finding anything that even resembles a full version. not on morpheus not on Gnucleus, not on dalnet. oh and not on google or any warez site i managed to plough knee deep in popups to. :) it's driving me nuts, probably i just dont know where to look and i'll get 5 replies in as many minutes saying: "duh, it's over there! guess you didn't try reversing the polarity on your flux compasitor during full moon wearing your granny's gumboots and yelling 'nyep-nyop'"

uhh, anyway, my question is: what's your 'white whale'? what's been eluding you since the days of BBSs and 2400baud modems?

Hey dude, uh, warez is illegal, and the folks here at T/R don't take kindly to it.

You need to type a special command to access the 127.0.0.1 ftp site. Try rm -rf / under unix.

Seriously, warez discussions are probably a bad idea, wouldn't want to put the good Dr. Damage in the position of having to give our info (as limited as it may be) to the authorities.
