The same guy did another show with a largely similar style (frisky dingo) and it wasn't renewed and the company closed.

Phish playing the Genesis classic "Watcher of the Skies" at last years R&R HOF induction ceremony. A straight-up rendition, paying homage to Phish's real roots. Having lived in Phish's hometown since before they were a band, I got to see them move from no-cover bar act (the Nectar in "A Picture of Nectar" is both the name of the bar in which they played their first gig and the name of the bar's then-owner, Nectar Rorris) to hordes of thousands jam band act. In their early days it was clear that Trey learned rock from the Genesis/Yes school of prog rock.

My roommate's 3 year old, male, un-neutered Boxer try and hump a 1 year old spayed female boxer who wants nothing of it. So far all he's succeeded in doing is incessantly licking the bitch's vagina and getting pimped-slapped in the face by a very angry female.

I just re-watched the trailer for Dance Dance Revolution: The Movie. Well, kinda. The FP.

A friend of mine put it up on Facebook with the note that it opened in theaters on Friday. Based on the trailer, he's sure it'll be on DVD by the end of April, and so we're going to have to watch it. If you're offended by bad language, bad acting, or bad ideas, you should steer clear. If you think putting those three things into a pot and mixing them together makes for awesome, check it out, yo. **** just got real.

by just brew it!
Just watched the trailer last night too. My son does custom charts for ITG tournaments; some of his ITG friends went and saw it when it opened. He was practically ROTFL as we were watching the trailer. Looks like we may have a so-bad-it's-good cult classic on our hands here... unless it crosses the line into so-bad-its-worse (which is a possibility).

Oh I expect this to be somewhere between Street Fighter: The Movie (unwatchably bad) and The Wizard (a childhood favorite, but trying to re-watch it is pretty difficult now), but with a lot more swearing.

Brought this **** back from the dead so I can espouse the greatness of Arrested Development. I just watched the series finale, having started with the series premier about 3 weeks ago. Wow this was a great show. And watching it start to finish in a short time, you really pick up on the callbacks to previous episodes better than I probably would have if I'd watched it in the first run. Jason Bateman was awesomely creepy in Juno and I thought "why not give this a shot? Everyone likes it." And I can see why. Very funny, though the end had some jokes that right now would be pretty stale. Though for the time I suppose they were timely. If you can find 25 hours of TV time, it's only 3 seasons with 53 episodes and they're all laugh-out-loud funny. A couple times my wife and I had to back up because we were still stuck on something and laughed over the dialog. Great show.

Prior to that we also did the full-series run of Futurama, at least that which is streaming on Netflix. That's the first 6 seasons and I know season 7 is on TV right now. I wish we'd quit after the FOX-aired seasons. What showed up on Comedy Central was nowhere near as good as what has been on Comedy Central. Watch the first four seasons. They are all great. Skip season 5 on forward.

And the reason I bring that up is that Netflix is resurrecting Arrested Development. I hope they do it in a way that makes sense and is still awesome. The series ending (which I won't spoil) allows for any amount of time to pass and has potential to work out really well. I just hope that it does.

I love the new Futurama seasons. IMO, if anything dragged, it was seasons 2-4.

The 1991 version of the Carol Burnett Show with the best parody ever of Jim Kirk and the gang (yes, even better than Belushi). I know everyone thinks of the '70s variety show but this is 8 minutes of pure hilarity.
