My mind is relatively blown!

C'mon, did anyone really think Einstein was going to lose this one?

You are giving Einstein too much credit. He was merely one of the first individuals who had describe the natural phenomena known as relativity with a fairly consistent model. :)

The only winner here is physics itself. ;)

And Krogoth manages to out-Krogoth himself.

The village idiot has BREAKING NEWS: Error Undoes Faster-Than-Light Neutrino Results

A freaking loose cable :D I would think the people running the program would triple check the fiber cables that go to gps cards. They sure did jump the gun publishing before checking the GPS measuring setup/gizmo :o

If only vargis14 had a time machine...

...something which is now cruelly un-possible.

Gizmodo says it best,
Didn't anyone from the Genius Bar tell them about the first rule of tech support? Check your cables first! Oh, scientists!

I also think these guys have checked all the possible explanations why it would not be over lightspeed before publishing any results. Otherwise they would become known as the "Ridiculous Speed" -guys in science circles. No-one would pour them a drink in parties (if any) of the scientists any more.

Dunno much about quantum science but I have read that a lot of things are completely different from Einsteinian science. I just hope that on quantum level things can be different and some sort of warp/FTL traveling would be possible.

I guess this would not make time travel possible in any way. I think for that to work you would need to backtrack every process in the universe and no amount of energy is enough for that. Just guessing also that Einsteins theory does not apply when going to FTL.
