well, if I keep upgrading my current system, I may end up buying a laptop for my next computer. my friend got one, and it packs a pretty hard punch. he runs WC3 at max settings, and gets decent frame rates. this kind of performance this early in the game (wc3 is a fairly demanding game) is pretty impressive on a laptop. he usually loads in a mere 5 seconds later than I do on my oc'ed to hell tbredB/A7N8X system.
if I can get that performance, with the convienence of a laptop I may buy one. I am finding it easier to read books on my computer, because I can write notes as I read, and change them just as easily something I could never do wile reading books provided by the school. and finding books in .txt formatt is easy. but, I will still never completely rely on my computer for books, because there's still nothing like sitting in bed with a light behind you clutching the two covers of the book open with your hands, reading as well as you can till the end of a good novel.
