Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

a store here in town sells krispy kreme doughnuts now and everyone is telling me how good they are . i bought some and to tell you the truth i think the bakerys dognuts are way better than krispy kremes . so what do you guys think ?

i think if you've never ate a doughnut before, Krispy Kreme's would taste the best, but i can't see how i could eat a KK doughnut everytime i wanted one. they're lite, but need substance

I second that. They are so gross. Deep fried shortning...
Might as well eat Crisco with a spoon...would go through about as fast too...

We call the KK doughnuts "Gut Bombs" here... :wink:

Lots of convenience stores are starting to sell KK doughnuts. Unfortunately, KK doughnuts don't really have a shelf life. For maximum benefit, you should eat them fresh (and hot if all possible) at a KK store.

The are absolutely the BEST doughnuts under those circumstances. If you buy them at a convenience store, it's not a good comparison.

I eat very few donuts, and when I do it's an apple fritter. So the KKs are not for me. My brother who is a dentist drops off business cards there all the time though. He likes the place because it gets him new business ;)

I've never had a doughnut from any sort of mom and pop bakery.

KK are awsome, much better than Dunkin' or anything bought at the store, atleast.

They're not nearly as good if you buy them from anywhere but the KK store.

That's hardly suprising considering that they are almost guranteed to make you take a crap five minutes after eating one. Same thing with lots of fast food, especially the fries. Who needs laxative anyways when you got this kind of food to fall back on? :wink:

I would say KK (or KKK?) doughnuts are not that good... they're a little.... flat.... and kinda.... droopy...

I like regular bakery doughnuts more

i am not really sure why every choice is repeated . when i first started the poll everything was fine . i got back on to check it like an hour later and the poll was gone all it showed was my first comment .

because the poll dissapeared i put everything back in the poll again thought maybe it got lost on the interweb or something . well when i put all the poll choices in again to start the poll over it showed all the old ones also . that how i ended up with two of everything .

i just suck and the interweb i guess :o
