Personal game collection database?

I buy games wherever I can find them cheap. Majority of the games I own are in my Steam library but the rest are scattered on Origin, GoG, Amazon and Uplay (UGH!). Sometimes, it's a real pain trying to figure out which game is where. Any suggestions on a painless way to create a games database? Something that comes to mind is Autocomplete for games. That would be awesome! Would save a lot of typing effort. Is there a de-facto games database like an IMDB of games that would just let me download the complete list of games I can use for Autocomplete?

If you're looking for a software to store your list of games, how about a spreadsheet?
If you're looking for a complete list of games, maybe MobyGames. It's incomplete for brand new games, but maybe rather complete for older ones.

Moby Games only lets you view a page of 25 entries at a time, so that would be extremely lengthy even if automated.

Searching around, I discovered that at least Steam has an API to access, including the ability to retrieve a listing of titles purchased in a user's account:
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wik ... 28v0001.29
GoG has promised to open source their Galaxy browser, but that's whenever they get to it.

I haven't touched UPlay or Origin, so I really can't help you there.
As for Amazon, I poked through the account management to see if there was some way to export a list from their site, but I didn't come across anything.

Apologies for my not being too helpful, but hopefully this gives you some ideas.

I prefer to use a spreadsheet or google doc, but one of the better sites is http://vgcollect.com/

You do have to create an account and use it online, but it might be what you are looking for.

They have options for choosing PC, MAC, Gog, etc.

You can create shortcuts in your Steam library for your non-Steam games.

This. Just do it, and run all your games via steam. Yes, they will still launch Origin, etc, but at least your games will all be listed in one place.
Another thing you can do is, make a folder with a link to every game installed. That way, you dont have to launch steam to launch origin, which might then launch Uplay.
Simply have the shortcuts in one place, and run from there.

This is exactly why I refuse to buy a game unless it's on Steam.

This. Works for other programs too oddly enough, so you can create custom titles if you want.

And yes, it's another reason I don't buy games that aren't on Steam, keeping track of the various game services is as bad as keeping track of physical discs & associated CD keys used to be. If EA wants my business they can quit adding/removing and re-adding old first-edition games back onto Steam repeatedly. :)

Hey, just bumped into this thread. I hope it's not necroposting.

So I am myself a developer of RAWG, which does just what you were looking for. It syncs games from Steam, Xbox and PSN automatically (GOG is on the way) and there's this fan-made Chrome extension to sync games from other PC stores as well. A developer I might be, but I also use it daily myself. It really helps me not buy the same thing twice (I bought numerous games both on GOG and Steam just because “Ooooh, it's on sale!”) and choose what and where I should play in the evening.
