Battlefield V

Sat May 26, 2018 10:31 am

I'm curious as to whether any BF fans here have seen the reveals and videos of BF V and what they think. I watched Jack Frags and Westies videos and I must say I'm really stoked about the up coming changes and the new direction they are taking. Slowing down the game and making squad play more important is great. What are ya'll thinking about it?

I've been a BF player ever since BF1942 on the PC but lately I do less multi-play vs single play. Occasionally I do jump into BF3 online for a multi-play quick fix. I enjoy military history so I liked the War Stories series they did with BF1 and will appreciate that with BF-V. I look forward to dog-fighting in Spitfires, Mustangs and Focke-Wulfs.

I kinda am and I'm kinda not... The flying in Battlefield has always been a poor simulation.

True, the jet simulations in the BF series are ridiculous and I avoided most multi-play maps with them. Hoping they make the propeller driven planes more believable.
I enjoy the nostalgia of the WWII war birds. Watching the trailer it was cool to see the V-1 buzz bomb fly in and it will add an interesting element.

Here's the best write up that I've found that tells about the new gameplay.
