Man, I didn't know that a site like that existed...I've resisted XBL because of the kiddies, but both playing with guys from TR and playing with actual adults could make it worthwhile...

First it's an arcade style flying game. M It really puts alot of emphasis on dogfighting. The single player is worth playing (A bit short however) but Multiplayer is where it shines. I had alot of fun with it, you can pick it up for $20 or less now days. It's definately worth the cash. Should be in everyones Xbox library.

Well I have halo 2. I can say the multiplayer is awesome. I just love it. There are a few flaws with live and the gametypes they use etc... but overall it is great and maybe some of the flaws can be worked out.

I have gotten through to level 9 of SP but have set it aside for the MP. The campaign sucks at first but then starts to heat up later on(no specifics, I wouldnt want to spoil it for someone who hasnt played it)

Regaurdless of all that, I now play alot. I would like to play with some TR folks just for fun sometimes. Also, the clan I am in on Halo2 kind of needs one more person(well more than that, but at least 1). We have 7 now and are 20-3(tie[round based games end far too soon])-1 so let me know

My gamertag is THEB0LT 0=zero
I hope to see you halo players around on there

OK...I'm up and running as DeadBugs. It takes forever to type all of that info in. Every live game I have, I have not played yet. So I will practice off-line the next couple of days so I can sorta keep up. Which is the easiest to pick-up and play?

Edit: Crimson Skies looks pretty easy I will try that for awhile.

You can get the live kit for about $50. It comes with a headset, 1 year subscription and a free game like crimson skies or mech assault.

It's an absolutely incredible excursion into precision, flashy driving. Not even NFS:U could top it (though I've not played NFS:U2 yet)

You should try OutRun 2! It's tons of fun and if you are a sucker for the old OutRun arcade game you'll absolutely love it. :)

It's on my Christmas list, along with Forza MotorSports (which I think got delayed into early 2005...but the demo in this month's OXM is pretty sweet)

What are your thoughts on Halo 2? Like it?

I have been enjoying the single player.

Online, I just can't get used to. I like playing UT2k4, Doom3 etc that move a lot faster. I just keep wanting to run. And I swear I unload both guns into a person and nothing, while I frequently get killed in one shot.

I probably just need more practice.

Edit: for spelling.

From what I have read, that's just the way it is and you have to get used to it. Playing single player I don't mind the speed at all, but during a deathmatch it gets frustrating. It might be better in a capture the flag type game.

After I finish the single player of Halo 2, I may keep playing Crimson Skies online. That is still fun.

I so can't wait for Forza. It's going to kick so much ass...it looks amazing.

XBL GamerTag: A Turing
XBL Games: Rainbow Six 3; Burnout 3 Takedown (So much fun); Mechassault; Unreal; Splinter Cell - Pandora.

I'm hoping to get the new Rainbow Six game for Christmas. RS and Burnout are my two online addictions - at least until Forza comes out!

YMMV, but from what I have seen, the Rainbow series gameplay is much better than Ghost Recon. If you do get it I would be interested what you think of it though...

GR2 is much difference from the other GR games. It was really overhauled for this sequel. Check this review out. :)

People I have spoken to say the map in GR2 are HUGE and Rainbox six maps are ususally smaller and indoors or close quarters.

Well, even though RS does have some large mape - a lot are CQB. I kinda like that.

However, you're right, GR:2 does look pretty slick. I'll have to rent it and try it out.

OT: Has anyone else seen how insane Blockbuster is with video game rentals now? They charge $6.99 for a weekly game (GAME, not the whole console, just the game!) rental!!
