I picked up Wii Play today so that means I have an extra Wii Remote. No reason to have five of them that I can think of. If somebody is interested in buying it from me for say 35 including shipping its yours. That will save you 5 bucks off the price and you dont have to go looking around to see if you can find one. If somebody does want it just let me know and I will start a thread for it in the bargain basement so that the deal is legit.

well me and the wife checked ou Wii Play today. Its probably worth the extra 10 bucks it costs over the top of the Wii Mote but it isnt worth more than 10 bucks on its own.

So does anyone want to buy the spare Wii Mote that I have ? its still in the wrapper it came in.

Damnit, my Wii no longer sees my Wiimote. Anybody have any suggestions? I already tried to make it resync with the wiimote.

Unplug the sensor bar, turn off the Wii completely and unplug the power, then reconnect everything back. See if that works. Do you have another Wiimote available to see if that works? That would help isolate the problem to either the Wii or the Wiimote.

Its on and off, the lack of people with AC helps. Still riding a bike to keep the power on is exhausting.

It goes in cycles, we get shipments every 2-3 weeks, you can find them for a couple of days and then they disapear again. Basically you get to watch Zelda jump to the top the game sales chart every couple of weeks.

Now this is a pretty slick Zelda Wii mod (warning, turn down your speakers).

That's pretty awesome. The paint could be a lot better, but overall it's cool.

I think I'll wait till my warranty is up before I start modding mine.

That looks pretty sweet.

Finally beat Sonic, really fun game, though the ending left a lot to be desired. Ah well its a fun game that really takes advantage of the wiimote's motion control, and I recommend it to anyone.

I'm waiting for a good review of the control scheme for it i.e. a real golfers opinion.

I am not a golfing fan, so I have no interest in it whatsoever. But here is a thread on Ars that may help you decide.

Has anyone played Prince of Persia Rival Swords?

I've heard a few people say that its better than Zelda.

I picked up MOH Vanguard, its a pretty fun game, but the controls could have been a little tighter. I give it a 7.5, as it is the best looking game for the Wii for shooters, and the AI is actually pretty good. Your teammates run behind cover and tell you when to duck if your getting shot at. Throwing grenades is awesome :D

Has anyone seen a Wii in the wild recently? Im getting sort of irritated at the apparent shortage. :-? BB, EB, GameStop, WalMart, Target, Amazon...no one has em yet. Oh they're getting em in trickles but they always sell out the day they get on the shelves.

Supply and demand, demand is through the roof, hence no supply. They could have charged 50 bucks more a console and made a bit more money while keeping some systems on shelves me thinks.

My suggestion is to ask the local stores when they get them in and be there right at that time, thats how other people I have known have been getting them.

I have seen the Wii in the wild one time is all. Had about ten of them piled up at a local Sams Club.

I know people around my parts can't find them without stalking shipments to stores.
