Eh - I've tried Gold for the first year, but then stopped. Frankly, I don't really think its worth it to pay that extra money for multiplayer - I recon Microsoft will make it free sometime in the future to stay competitive with whatever Sony and Nintendo will throw at it...

PerfectCr how do you like Netflix's streaming to your 360? My wife is prodding at getting a Netflix account (which I've thus far avoided) but if the streaming quality is good and if the selection is nice, I might finally relent. Especially since you need Live Gold (which the only reason we'd get Live Gold is to get Netflix to the 360).

I did not bother getting an Xbox 360 mainly because of fears of the RROD (shame since the games are really good), but $30 is a pretty good deal for those interested. Myself though, I would be happy with the Silver level.

I am so tempted. Any idea how long it's good for?
