Yes, Mirror's Edge is worth it. I paid $60 for it at launch and have no regrets.

So I didn't end up buying Batman. It is up for 66% off voting right now though. Hopefully I can catch that deal here in an hour and a half.

People should be picking up Skyrim for 30 bucks if you don't have it.

I got that one... I liked it, it's got really excellent visuals, a cool soundtrack, and the story is creepy and interesting. Certainly worth the $2.50 in my opinion.

But word of warning in case you aren't aware, it's not really a "game" per say, it's more of an interactive movie. You control where your character walks and looks, but there are no enemies, no puzzles to solve, etc.

3 bucks for Psychonauts, and bought Heroes 6 for $25.

I think that's all the budget will support for now.

So like Max Payne 3 then?

I'm in for:

The Witcher 2
Saints Row 3
Batman Arkham City and Harlequin DLC

Plus, I just picked up Deus Ex: HR and Max Payne 3 in other recent sales. I'd like to pick up Skyrim too, but I think I've blown my games budget for now. Maybe it will be $20 during the next sale...

Same here. It's bad.

I've feel I've shown incredible restraint and *only* bought Mata Hari, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Batman Arkham City and Fallout: New Vegas.

So far I've grabbed Terreria and Legend of Grimrock.

Terreria is ok. I guess I prefer my Minecraft in first person. Grimrock is awesome if you like old school, 1st person dungeon crawlers.

I was really hoping for Krater to go 50% on this last community deal, but I've been wanting to try Sanctum as well.

I still haven't played everything from the last summer sale, but I'm sure I'll end up with more before this one is over.

Bought the 4 pack of Sanctum last night - Was a little too tired to get too comfy with it, but I had a blast for the first 20 minutes or so. Very fun, can see myself and buddies playing this a lot. Very atmospheric, futuristic, and cool looking. Very excited to play more. For $7 you can't beat that!

I have seen Batman on sale more than once. Keep your eyes peeled and it could pop up again in the next 5 days. (Or maybe as an encore deal).

Bioshock (the first) and Torchlight are also on good sales for a few hours ($5 and $3.74 respectively). And if you want the evil twin to Saints Row, GTAIV is $5 as well.

I'm debating buying the Sanctum 4 pack. If I do and I have any left over I'll post here and give them away.

JC2 is on sale for 3.74 right now.

I got Hard Reset for $3.75 and is still for that price. I liked the demo and upgrading weapon system and the sale has a price i cant refuse. 8)

Bastion, Cavestory+, Left 4 dead 2 (as a gift), Limbo, Dear Esther, Trine 1 and 2, Monkey Island Collection.

Currently eye balling the "Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP". Looks interesting and has lots of positive reviews if you like that fancy 8 bit style.

I dont think i spent above 5 bucks for any games so far. Feels good.

The Total War megapack is pretty darn good for $12.50 if that game type is your thing.

Bastion is great, sort of a platformer in 3D with a nice story. There is some replay value too even if it's a little forced (replay through the same game with a score, or get achievements etc.) A console controller is highly recommended.

It is good but you have to know what you're getting. If you'd be hung up on perfect graphics, you may want to pass. Graphics are decent but there are quirks, like the way character heads don't meld well with bodies, but in general the graphics are good not great, think late DX9 graphics with some things that look awkward.

Gameplay - very good. Best first-person mounted combat ever and it stays real - it's no medieval fantasy game with magic and dragons. Realistic and challenging archery. It's sandbox-style make your own adventure with no set overall story per se except for what standard quests you decide to take on. (My knowledge is from the basic game only though.) To make the gameplay go from good to great check out the modding scene for it - it is absolutely huge and there are tons of dedicated modders.

I got the base Mount & Blade a long time ago. I've seen the expansions on sale so much I've been tempted but don't have enough time to put into it.

I've played one of these games, and seen the other people play... I wouldn't really recommend it - the graphics is really "dated" and the animations are just awful, even for such a cheap game, I could never get over them...

For current price - I'd say "yes". It's a pretty linear game and doesn't really have a "sandbox" environment, but they did a pretty good character animations (especially facial animations) and good voiceovers and the general story is interesting enough to go through at least once...

Dead Island has been fun as all hell. Even Rage has been OK. I haven't had a chance to play Skyrim beyond 10 or 20 minutes because my wife comes home and kicks me off for it though

Good price. Beware, though, there still may be issues with it and Windows 7 (random crashes/lock-ups), so safe often! Alternatively, you may try this easy manual fix:

Funny enough, I just had it lock up after assigning my starting stats. I'll try the fix from the forums. Thanks for posting it!
