THQ Humble Bundle

Quite a bit here that looks to be worth playing, plus the normal Humble Bundle charity donation applies. I'm sure THQ doesn't mind that I split my payment equally between Humble Bundle, Child's Play, and the Red Cross and left them out entirely.

I also bought this today. I only paid $10 (money's always tight at the end of the month :-/), but I gave $1 of it to THQ, just to support them for doing something this cool.

Paid my 10 bucks.
Worth it....though I have to admit, I don't even have time to play the games I have.
Oh well, for a good cause and such.

From what I understand THQ is basically a charity case at this time. It's really unfortunate. They've put out some great games, but no one buys them. Imagine if Darksiders were skinned with "Zelda" it would have sold 10 million copies. Metro 2033 was great, but didn't sell as many copies as a lot of other shooters that year. Saints Row The Third got good reviews, but probably sold 1/20 the copies of Grand Theft Auto.

In for $10 as well - what an awesome bundle. I honestly have been out of the gaming loop for a while so I thought Metro 2033 was a racing sim :(

On a side note, what happens to Company of Heroes 2 if THQ goes out ?? Does another publisher acquire distro rights to Relic's sequel to my favorite game, CoH ?

I admit to not giving Darksiders a second look when it first came out and I'm definitely going to give it a go. If it's awesome I'll buy the sequel.

Darksiders is for the most part a great game, though the last dungeon is just kind of uuuuuuuuuuugh and the writing is mostly terrible.

Bought it because I'd had CoH in the past but donated the retail package, I stopped playing it only part way through the campaign but the campaign was awesome from what I remember, for the base game plus all expansions it was a no brainer.

Yes, I felt the same. Love the original Company of Heroes, but I never picked up the addons. The opportunity to pick up all of the addons, another copy of the original and a few other games for a reasonable price was too much to pass up.

I paid $6 cause I'm broke and it's a present for my brother.

:p

Bought for 15 and gave most of it to THQ since I want more of their IPs and they're broke as hell.

Now they've added Titan Quest and Red Faction: Armageddon's mission pack, Path to War to the current bundle. Though you do need to have paid more than the average (somewhere a little less than $6) to get Titan Quest.

Titan Quest is a fun Diablo-style dungeon crawler. A bit slower paced than D2 or D3, but still really fun.

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War GOTY has been added, which is great news. I had the base DoW game, but none of the expansions, and now I have them all on steam. Huzzah.

edit: GOTY edition does not include any expansions, my bad.

This bundle has been great. Best 15 bucks I've spent on games in a long time.

Saints Row is hilarious. Vulgar and awful, but hilarious.
