"The Division" demo by Ubisoft at E3

The lighting looks impressive, but... Was it rendered on actual console hardware? Or pre-rendered on PC? What do you think?

Some screenshots (not embedded because of full 1080p res) - the video doesn't really do justice to the lighting effects and texture resolution:

Depends how far they are in development. If it's near certification then yeah I'd expect it to be rendered on the consoles. If it's not I'd think the dev kit would make more sense.

I wasn't incredibly impressed by the showing....I'd need to see more, but it does look interesting.

(Huge fan of open world shooters though, so I'll get it either way.)

It's amazing how far great textures go in making a game look AMAZING.
