Tron 2.0... holy cow!

Tue Aug 26, 2003 11:13 pm

I downloaded the Tron 2.0 demo a while ago. Now all I can say is wow! I want this game. The graphics are just amazing. The gameplay, from what I got in the demo, kicks tail. Who else really wants to buy this game?

I heard someone say that the game came out today. Beats me as I no longer follow the release dates closely. They are just too fluid in today's gaming industry.

um thanks but no thanks. i rather not require to join some stupid
site just to download their demo version of this. i am totally against
that practice.

any one else got a legit link where i can just click to download it without
having to sign up or join the damn site first?

http://www.3dgamers.com/dl/games/tron2/ ... o.exe.html

3dgamers usually will have all the game demos/movies that the "register" sites have. Except for the "exclusive" stuff or course. ;)

Let me know what it's like man...I saw screenshots a long time ago and it looked cool. I went and saw Tron as a kid with my dad - wow did that have an effect on me then!

For a reveiw and some screenies check:

Generally it is against my policy to buy games during times of nice weather, I may have to bend my rules on this one.

Guess you should have signed up at the Fileshack then, ehh? Sorry, but Fileshack rules. Even the free subscription is great. Yeah, you might have to wait in line for 10 or 15 minutes to download, but when you do, they'll push at up to 100 kbps (assuming your downstream can handle it).

If you're worried about them selling your e-mail address, don't. I use a new address every time I sign up for a site like that; the addy I used for Fileshack gathered no spam.

In an attempt to get this thread back on track...

This game is gorgeous and addictive, worth every penny i spent on it. They do a really good job of getting the "tron" feel down. If your really critical about the use of tech babble you probably won't enjoy alot of the dialog.

The only downfall I see is that the story is a bit short. Other then that I think the game is great!
Oh ye of too much faith.
