While cleaning up my PC work area, I was surprised to find every smart phone I have owned. I have been tethered to Verizon (I agree they suck) the entire time I have had smart phones, thus the 2+ year period between each one. I bounced around carriers with my flip phones, but got a job that required what was considered a smart phone back in the (definitely not) good old days. The original iPhone was out, but considered a toy. I needed a real phone. So the first one phone was a Samsung SCH-i760, with a 400mhz processor, 64mb of ram, and Windows Mobile 6. These phones were awful, but built like tanks, and great for the web on WIFI, but otherwise a giant POS. Windows Mobile 6.0 was awful. They did release 6.1, but it would only install on a Vista machine (to this day). BTW, it still works perfectly. Next up, my first Android, a Droid 2. Still love the slide out keyboard. Next up, my first modern smart phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Again Moto and Verizon combined to bork OS upgrades, every Galaxy Nexus got 4.4, Verizon stopped at 4.3. It runs Lineage 14.1 and is actually faster than when it had Android 4.3. Finally, at almost 3 years old the OG Droid Turbo. Verizon and Moto combined to get the 5.1, and 6.1 out to the Turbo a few months after the next Android version came out. So two months after 6 comes out, we got 5. Good fun. I have a pic of them all lined up if anyone wants to show their collection, feel free.
Edit: My bad on the pic, I have been a member for well over 10 years so I know that wasn't it.
