Not sure if this is the right place for this, but if anyone has recommendations for Digital Camcorders in the $300-$400 range (I'm currently looking at the Sony DCR TRV 480 and DCR H 21).

I'd appreciate any suggestions for better models or a good place to review...

You might search the A/V forum @ ARS. These kinds of questions pop up all the time there. Though the search feature kind of sucks, and it's a very active forum, so if you can't find a thread in your price range, just post one. As for review sites, CamcorderInfo seems pretty good.
