The largest of these problems is that the laptop does not boot. It will not boot with the battery fully charged and power cord unplugged, with just the power cord plugged in, or just the battery plugged in. Also once the battery has charged, if I unplug the power cord the battery looses its charge in a day.
I figure it is most likely that I have a short somewhere, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something else before I start chasing after another goose.
Any ideas, or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
