I have been repeatedly dismissing the High Sierra upgrade nag on my work MBP. I think I will continue to put it off until Apple gets their act together, or IT says they're not supporting Sierra any more.

Yes, Microsoft's doing it too. That doesn't change the reality of Apple's own behavior on the matter.

Your shill is showing.

If someone makes it appear as if Apple is the only culprit in the murky world of corporate tax avoidance then I am going to make it clear that Apple is not the only company doing it. I'm not condoning the practice, merely pointing out the facts. By the by, I thought the latest round of tax "reform" was going to deal with this stuff. Apparently not. I guess the GOP forgot about it in their haste to get their scribbled tax cuts for the wealthy passed.

Your interpretation of the post in this manner shows your bias and self-identification with the Apple brand even more.

And MacOS has been getting through with more bugs than before it seems.

Yeah, you.
You are talking about "tax" as an "avoidance" to the what the actual point was.

Meanwhile my new Android phone (late August?) is still on an OS build from July 1st or so with major security issues outright ignored and...yeah I'd take a few glitches in iOS over this ****, I thought most major vendors were better than that these days but I guess not.

I just randomly typed in an iOS version and...
... iOS 9.2 was released on December 8, 2015.

Oh I'm not griping on the amount of updates! Security issues should be addressed on all devices and platforms for a reasonable time frame. I mean bugs in general. I use to update everything when the updates launched. Now I find myself waiting until at least the second or third point update before moving over.
Klickey wrote:Hmm....how irritating. I just updated to High Sierra because it kept announcing me about the update. I did to stop it, and High Sierra does slow my Macbook air early 2015.

You should try it on a MacBook Late 2009
ClickClick5 wrote:Hey! That is the same laptop I have too! Is it really bad? I have a new SSD coming to replace the dying HDD and hoped that would speed it up a bit. I'm still on 10.10 currently with 10.13 on a flash drive ready to go.
