It's my least-favorite part of the 2017 models, but I have adjusted.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I will eventually need to adjust too. They're starting to roll out the new MBP at work; not sure how long it will be before IT stops supporting the old one. If my current one dies, the replacement will be the 2017 model.

At least I can use my RK-9000 when I'm at my desk.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I'm at the point where I can deal with the TB3/USB-C only. The keyboard is super annoying, but for work I'd just have an external keyboard anyway so whatever. The touchbar is useless IMO and if it adds any significant price to the machine I think that's an awful decision by Apple. That said, I have no hope for a better keyboard on the next model but I'll probably still be buying one anyway. I need an upgrade in power from the i5 in my current 2015 rMBP even if it has a stupid touchbar and bad keyboard.

C'mon KL-G.

Rockin. I was thinking of picking up a notebook more capable than an APU system on Wednesday.

I kinda got there by using the Type-A to Type-C converter that came with my Pixel 2 connected to a USB 3.0 Type-A hub. Then I got the dock that works for the most part, other than not charging while the computer is asleep (true of both my Inspiron 13 7000 and the Mac, so it's not an Apple problem). Then I eBayed the dock and got a second charger and I'm back to the hub + adapter.
