Anyone who pays full retail price for an MS OS is dumb.

Some of us are not thieves. Although I could have paid full price I used my employer discount. You can take your thieving and thread crapping elsewhere TYVM.

And you can take your dumbass assumptions elsewhere 'TYVM.' Where did I say steal it? I said 'pays FULL RETAIL PRICE.' There are plenty of perfectly legal ways to buy valid licenses for less than the retail price, OEM versions for one, upgrade versions for another, employer discount as you yourself even said for crying out loud, and MS often does lots of giveaways and promotions.

Its your fault, you left it open for interpretation.......... If you would have said that in the first place I wouldnt have called you a thief and thread-crapper. Mean what you say and say what you mean.

I didn't think 'full retail price' would be interpreted as stealing. If I had said just 'pays for MS OS' that could have been easily interpreted and probably meant as advocating copyright infringement. I do not and have not ever advocated stealing software. Your implicit apology is accepted.

So are we going to see this thing get released next week?

Seems like we have been waiting forever for it!

No. You'll probably see a release date announcement, though.

And you don't have to pay full retail price. You can get it on Amazon for under retail within a few days of release. And your best bet if you have even 2 Macs is to get the Family Pack, which further drops the per-machine price.

Either you really value buying direct from Apple or you're not very good at shopping if you pay full retail.

With MS OSes it's a matter of whether or not you want support. People that buy retail expect retail support. People that buy OEM don't, necessarily.

And I'm with MadManOriginal. Interpreting his statement as "piracy go!" is if you can't read.

I only just installed it, but my favorite thing about it so far? It freed up 12 gigs of space on the hard disk. Also, finder is much snappier.
