Modular Corsair PSU Cable Compatibility

Fri May 26, 2017 12:49 pm

So I have a Corsair HX850 that was purchased in 2009, and a Corsair HX750i I purchased in 2014, both having fully modular cables. I kept the cables that came with each separated, but now I can't remember with 100% certainty which set came with which PSU.

Does anyone know if the cables are compatible with each other? I'm specifically looking at the PCI-E power cables, but it would be good to know for all of them.
If not, one PSU came with a larger cable bag than the other. I think the HX850 was the larger one, but I can't be sure.

I've left a post on corsair's forums asking the same thing, but I'm hoping someone here might have the answer quicker.
