Anyone have any experience putting a 9.6" x 8" ATX-motherboard in a mid-tower case? I have an older Dell Inspiron 3647 that's fine as a NextCloud server, and while it has two SATA ports, I can add a PCIe-SATA adapter... but there's no room in the case for another 3.5" HDD. (I have an 8 TB HDD and SSD and want to add another 8 TB HDD I have spare ;-)
I'd like to get a cheap, larger case with at least two 3.5" bays (I have the SSD boot drive taped to the inside ;-), and I have the cable lengths (USB, front indicators, etc.). But will I have a problem securing the board to the case? It's definitely 9.6" x 6" SFF board (the closest Wikipedia mentions is a "DTX - AMD - 2007 - 200 × 244 mm max (8.0 × 9.6 in)."
Thanks for any input!
