Look at his username. Ain't that surprised he's "talking" like that.

Anyways, the Antec Sonata is a good case. Comes with a 380W PSU too.

Hehehe. Yes i too have a mild headache from reading the semi-ebonical post. Is that even a word, ebonical? I don't know, sounded fun :)

A good, budget case, imo, is the chieftec series, dragon and turbo seem to be very popular adn are nice as well. You can find them online for 60-100 usually. Check those out.

The Lian Li PC-60 is an excellent case if you are willing to go with a mid tower, but it sounds like you want something bigger. With that in mind, go for a case like this. I have the Chenming version of this case that is aluminum without a front fan filter and it was a nice case for the price. I eventually replaced it with a Lian Li because the Chenming was just too big and bulky. The Antec case I pointed out is excellent though with the front intake filter and high build quality. It has plenty of room and tons of airflow. Because of it's size, you should have no problems installing watercooling. Just keep in mind that the version that I linked to is steel, so it's built like a tank and is nearly as heavy as one. If that is not a problem for you, then that case is excellent. The Antec Sonata is excellent as well, but once again it is only a mid tower.

Anymore idea's??

Sun Aug 10, 2003 6:02 am

Ok cool, thanks for all your reply's!! I was just wanna add, that the only reason i was writing in short-hand is because i've spent years on yahoo, that's all.

And as for you "ooki_dave, " assuming i was "talking" like that over the assumption of my username is very cliche & stereotypical, & i'd advise you not to address situation's in such a manner in future.

If anyone else has any more case idea's, fire away!!

P4P800 > P4C800

Thu Aug 14, 2003 2:14 pm

Actually, although the asus P4P800 is part of the "865" chipset & not the "875, " the P4P800 actually outperform's the P4C800 by a significant amount. If ya don't believe me, go to bit-tech & see for yourself.

Bit-tech: http://www.bit-tech.net/review/218/

Concerning da case, it looks promisin & i'll get back to ya when i have a good look at it.

That is **** about p4p800, the usuall computeristic smartass that support the theory that what you pay is not what you get well sometimes this might be true but only sometimes in the world of computers, well if youwant to be realistically informed try http://www.motherboards.org/rank/Intel/ ... -rank.html which is one of the best motherboard sites (do not conclude from the ranking board go to the reviews)...

That's the stupidest thing I've heard in quite some time. You choose your nick, and you choose your assinine posting style. I'm sure they match for a reason. Please try using English in the future.

What the hell is up with people who can't use correct English, all this mobile phone abbreviation nonesense and other slang is pathetic and indicates to me a deficiency in English grammar, there is no excuse in my book. Trying to write correctly but making the odd mistake is obviously acceptable but for anything you might as well use another language.

Moan over.

You didn't say what your budget is.

I have the Lian-Li PC-75 noted above. It's a beautiful well designed huge case that can satisfy pretty much anyone. Highly recommended.

Hope this is the be-all-to-end-all...

Having used the Yahoo groups in the past, I can see where the abbrev. style comes from.

Don't assume from his user name that he's writing in ebonics, 'cause from my experience, even people who useebonics regularly in their speech do not write in ebonics. Plus, you can tell this isn't ebonics, because ebonics is shortened speech, not abbreviated speech.
