I found this site and forum looking for Daw Benchmarks.
Its great these unique benchmark are included.

They are very important for amateurs musicians like me and profissionals.

In a daw whats really important it´s what you can process in a very short time. The more time you need to process the more latency you have.
In real world recording latency is terrible. The lower the latençy is the more accurate is the recording.
A DAW must read, process and play a lot of audio tracks while being able to write one or more tracks in real time.
So the more power and fast power you have more you can reduce the buffer reducing the latency.

So congratulations to techreport for using this benchmark.

I am anxious to buy a new system. Iam waiting and wayting for the review of ryzen+ and the new intel processors so i can make the smarter investment.
Hope to get all those processors benchmarked soon.

Can we expect DAWBench benchmarks on every CPU tested here @ Tech Report?

Anyone with a DAW can conduct these tests themselves but seeing results done on the latest CPUs is a huge benefit.
Not that we don’t trust Custom DAW builders, but they do have inventory that must be moved.

I build my own 1U’s and streamline all software, so having a reviewer not involved in Digital Audio means just the meat and potatoes.
