Needs a bigger cooler

Considering that Intel's "95 watt TDP" 8-core Coffee Lake 14 nm processors routinely draw a continuous 200+ watts, it's not really surprising that the"88 watt TDP" Xeon E-2274G needs more cooling than Intel's wimpy stock cooler can provide.

It's only a 4/8 CPU, but the base clock is 4.0Ghz, so yeah -- pretty weak. I was going through the closet the other day and happened to glance at the stock cooler from my 2500k --- the two look roughly identical, except I seem to remember the one from my 2500k having a small copper insert (for whatever that's worth). Considering that Xeon is roughly a glorified i3 for at least triple the cost, you'd think they could include something better.

Speaking of TechPowerUp, do you post in the forums? I've been hanging out there for a bit now. Not terribly impressed with the community, and some of the mods are mildly douchey.

TDPs have become a complete joke.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
